Roofers Mart Joins the Independent Distributors Alliance Corporation
IDAC’s national strength and shared expertise support Roofers Mart’s continued independent growth
SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Independent Distributors Alliance Corporation (IDAC) continues to expand its network of independent distributors with the addition of Roofers Mart Inc., one of the Midwest’s leading suppliers of exterior building products.
Roofers Mart was founded in 1983 by a group of St. Louis-area contractors seeking better access to roofing materials through collective purchasing. Bill Vierling and Mark Postawko acquired the company in 1999 and set out to expand its reach and product offerings while maintaining its independence and dedication to its customers. Today, the company supplies professional contractors with residential and commercial roofing, siding, windows, doors, and other exterior building products through nine locations across Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Kansas.
Now led by the second-generation, Roofers Mart remains family owned and firmly independent. The company continues to invest in people, inventory, and infrastructure, including plans to expand into Arkansas with its tenth location, set to open in early 2026.
